Brass Neutral Links manufacture brass bus bars in a variety of shapes, such as flat strips, solid bars or rods, and are typically composed of copper, brass or aluminium as solid or hollow tubes. The Hollow Section also has higher stiffness than a solid rod of equivalent current carrying capacity, which allows greater span between busbar supports in outdoor electrical application. Brass Busbar must be sufficiently rigid to support its own weight, and forces imposed by mechanical vibration. Busbars are protected from accidental contact either by a metal earthed enclosure or by elevation out of normal reach. Brass Bus Bars are available in different size and specifications according to customers’ any type of requirements.

Following are the specification for Brass Bus Bars.

Features for Brass Bus Bars
  • Provide faster installation.
  • Available with high thermal conductivity which enables the copper to dissipate heat generated in the transmission of electricity.
  • Available with drilled, slotted, bent and plated holes.
  • Allows heat to dissipate more efficiently due to their high surface area to cross sectional area ratio.
  • Generally uninsulated and have sufficient stiffness to be supported in air by insulated pillars.
Application for Brass Bus Bars
  • Distribute electricity with greater ease and flexibility than other more permanent forms of installation and distribution.
  • For common connection and distribution of large wire gauges.
  • Produce secure and heat wiring assemblies.
  • Used to connect high voltage equipment at electrical switchyards and low voltage equipment.
  • Allow sufficient cooling of the conductors and the ability to tap in at various points without creating a new joint.
