Brass Chicago Grub Screws

Brass Chicago Grub Screws are designed and manufactured without a protruding head, which allows them to be driven fully into pre-drilled holes. The lack of a head on a Grub Screw allows for the entire length of the shaft to be threaded, maximising thread engagement. Due to their compact size, Grub Screws are often incorporated into ergonomic, space-saving, and aerodynamic designs. Grub Screws are commonly found within door handles, and can also be found in bicycles, mobile phones, and electronic cigarettes (Ecigs). Features of Brass Chicago Grub Screws
  • A small headless screw that is slotted at one end to receive a screwdriver and when placed in a continuous threaded hole between two adjacent pieces prevents lateral movement.
  • Not suitable for replacement in high tensile applications.
  • Manufactured from Corrosive resistant A2 Grade Stainless Steel.
  • Available with DIN 916 Grub Screws Specification.
  • Available with various drives include Socket, Slotted and Phillips.
